ToPinyin is a free toolkit for learning Chinese: convert Chinese text to pinyin with correct tone marks, look up any character's stroke order and meaning, and generate printable writing practice worksheets from your own vocabulary.
What it does
Pinyin converter — paste Chinese text and get pinyin with tone marks, including correct readings for polyphonic characters (多音字). Everything runs in your browser; nothing you paste is uploaded.
Hanzi pages — stroke-order animations, definitions, character decompositions, and HSK levels for thousands of characters, plus a pinyin-filterable index that works in reverse (pinyin → characters).
Writing worksheets — generate tracing grids from your own word list (up to 60 characters), with optional recall pages, in A4 or US Letter size. Free, no account needed.
